Hertig Applied Engineering was founded in 2022. Our founder found that working in large shops allowed him to make a living, but didn’t allow for any creativity in solving challenges around the shop.

This led him to purchase a HAAS machine, and begin to produce parts with full liberty in optimizing all processes and reducing waste in all aspects of manufacturing. Zac also teaches CNC part time at Yavapai College, and is passionate about the manufacturing trade.
